Divefest 2012

Dive Fest 2010

Type: Festival

Dive Fest is the UK’s biggest and best diving festival and takes place at Pentewan Sands Holiday Park. Divers from all over the UK dust off their dive suits, get a group of mates together and head on down to Cornwall for a huge party, complete with live music, food, events and equipment and travel stalls. This laid back, friendly festival is firmly cemented in the diary as the British diving event of the year.

You can book onto a hardboat or RIB charter boat - a number of boats are available offering a variety of dives out of Mevagissey harbour. Or you can bring your own boat. RIBs can be launched and recovered at Pentewan Sands via the tractors operated at Pentewan Sands. Apart from the diving and snorkelling around the fascinating coastline, there are lots of onshore activities, too. Scour the beach for fuel, food and warmth on a survival course, brush up your performance in a circus skills workshop and see the British Divers Marine Life Rescue in action as they simulate a cetacean rescue on the beach at Pentewan. You can also check out the many exhibitors who will be showing off the latest equipment and dive destinations in the Dive Hub and after the day’s activities join the evening party in the main marquee with a meal and chill out to live music or get cosy by the beach bonfire.
