2012 Wiggle Cornwall Tor

2012 Wiggle Cornwall Tor 29th April 2012

Type: Sporting

It's Cornwall's biggest sportive challenge! - With nearly 1,000 riders last year, the Wiggle Cornwall Tor is becoming one of the most popular sportive challenges in the UK. For 2012 we've got a new large capacity HQ in the parklands of National Trust Lanhydrock. There's lots to do there for all the family too.

Why you must ride 'The Tor'! - Quite simply, it's one of the most spectacular and challenging rides you can experience enjoying some of Europe's most stunning coastal scenery. Highly rated by past 'Tor veterans' who consistently tell us it's the best cycling challenge on the calendar. 'The Tor' combines the organisation skills and resources of Kilo To Go and Cornwall Council, coupled with stunningly beautiful cycling terrain. For the 5th Cornwall Tor we're delighted to welcome Wiggle as our primary partner again - the UK's official number 1 online bike retailer. By riding Wiggle Cornwall Tor you are also helping us to raise awareness and create sponsorship opportunities for our 2012 charity partner, Cancer Research UK. Cancer Research UK are the worlds leading cancer charity.

Do stay over - Cornwall is one of Britain's top holiday destinations and ready to accommodate your stay with an abundance of charming hotels, guest houses and B&Bs to suit all groups and budgets. What's more The Tor takes place out of season and that means lower prices - as well as quiet roads. Why not make a weekend of it? There's so much to see and do for all the family in Cornwall.
