A traditional granite cottage, once the Old Post Office, with beamed ceilings and large open fireplaces in the picturesque coastal village of Pentewan. Close to the Lost Garden of Heligan and enjoying a superb sandy beach within a few hundred yards. The cycle trail from Pentewan to St Austell and Mevagissey is within a hundred yards or so. Cycle and Canoe Hire can be arranged in the village.

There is a pub nearby and restaurants and cafes in the village as well.

Lounge for guests' use.

Open All Year - except for a few days at Christmas.

Road Directions

FROM the A30, take the A391 to St Austell. Turn right on to the A390. St Austell TIC is 1 mile further on the left-hand side.
FROM St Austell TIC, turn left onto the A390. At the roundabout, turn left onto the B3273 to Mevagissey. After 4 miles, turn left to Pentewan Village. *** Cross the narrow bridge, turn right and find a space in the Free Car Park on the right. The Old Post Office is on the opposite side of the road, look for the sign.
FROM Fowey, take the A3082 to St Austell. Turn left onto the A390. After about 1 mile, pass St Austell TIC on your left and continue as above.
FROM Mevagissey, take the B3273 towards St Austell. After descending towards Pentewan, turn right into Pentewan Village. Continue as above ***

Public Transport Directions

St Austell has a 'Transport Interchange' with Mainline Rail, Coach & Local Bus station all on the same site near the centre of St Austell. There is also a Taxi rank.
Local Bus Services : Western Greyhound No.526 and First Cornwall No. 26 pass close to Pentewan village on the B3273 to Mevagissey
