Dovecote Cottage

This converted barn can be found nestled amongst a hamlet of attractively converted farm buildings, at the bottom of a long private drive. It has far reaching views across our farmland and to the sea beyond.

The conversion has been carried out to retain as much original character whilst providing all the modern conveniences of life.

On the ground floor the open plan kitchen is fully equipped with electric oven and grill, hob, fridge/freezer and microwave. The open plan lounge with its high vaulted ceiling and exposed beams is furnished to a high standard, creating a warm and homely space. We provide Freeview TV, stereo, broadband access, with live web cam link to wildlife camera’s around the farm. The master bedroom has a double bed, wardrobe and dressing table, and French doors leading to a veranda. The bathroom has a walk in shower, sink and toilet.

On the second floor there is a twin bedroom with two single beds, a wardrobe and a small chest of drawers. All the furniture and soft furnishings are co-ordinated throughout.

Outside there is parking for 2 cars.

The bed linen is changed on a weekly basis, towels are provided. All electricity is included.

We do allow dogs by prior arrangement.
We regret that the property is only available to non-smokers.

A welcome pack will be provided at the beginning of your stay, which includes produce from our farm, or local producers. Local amenities include village grocery shops, post office, fish and chip shop, 2 local pubs, restaurants and beach café’s. There are 3 beaches within walking distance from the cottage also Heligan Gardens and the Eden Project are a short drive.
