About the Cornish Riviera
At the very heart of Cornwall's south coast, the Cornish Riviera is bounded by two great rivers; the Fal and the River Fowey.
Spanning from Lostwithiel in east across to the Roseland Peninsula to the west, the Cornish Riviera encompasses varied landscapes; dramatic 'alps' and pits of the China Clay mining area, secretive valleys hiding the silent remains of their industrial heritage, rolling countryside with small farms their fields leading down to rounded cliffs on the coast; with fishing harbours and beaches a-plenty along the great sweep of St Austell & Mevagissey Bays leading down to the quiet creeks of the Roseland Peninsula.
